Hey RJ, I didn't see your message till just now.

Yeah, that was my thinking about the longer spring, and so far, I like the 375/465 spring a lot better. I weigh about 200 lbs geared up and have stripped off the bars and side cases. My top case is full of tools, jackets and lunch. Even loaded up, the 400/450 spring felt way too stiff for me.

The drawback with this spring is since it's so much longer, it'll take a while to change preload between light and heavy loads.

    Hi rjmorel,
read your nice report on a trip you made last august and on your Redverz tent.
Just one question on the tent for which you posted 3 pictures: on the 3rd it looks like the front door of the tent (not the canopy) is backed by mosquito net. Is that correct?
Pls reply to my e:mail address: jeancler@tin.it
Thanks a lot and hello from Milano.

The heat wave here is alive and well for the moment, maybe next 7-10 days above 90 deg. Not affiliated w/ tri-cities riders but may have bumped into them along the way. A lot of people come thru WW on their way up to Tiger Canyon, start of the OBDR going south. rj

RJ, hope the heat wave there has subsided. Are you affiliated with the Tri-city Riders? They seem to be an active group.

Hi RJ. If you don't mind, where in WA are you? I lived near & in Spokane from '85-'04 and was affiliated with the Spokane Classic Motorcycle Enthusiasts. Loved riding the countryside there.
