Hi spud! I found your images of the Qingqi Forks, and they look suspiciously similar to the forks on my Bashan Brozz. Inverted, but not true dual reservoir cartridge forks!
I took one off yesterday and intend to open it up tonight. Did you take any picks?
I am going to use a caliper and get dimensions on the damping rod, piston, other parts and assess the situation for installing Racetech cartridge emulators. Racetech has lots of different applications, so I will need to provide them with spring width and inner diameter, and the diameter of the top of the dampling rod to select a compatible emulator. I am sure they will have one that fits. Did you install them???

Got a discussion question for you and I want your opinion. I have a 2019 rx3, its new, <250 miles, and the front brake on mine sucks ass. Now it does have abs, and before I go bypassing that I was wondering about something else. I searched and read here and elsewhere, but i have not come across anything about brake lines. With the abs under the tank, the front line is about 7' of total line, the rear is about 4'. That is a lot of line under the best circumstances, and line flex has always been one of the places that you loose a lot of pressure. I have not put a pressure gauge on it and seen what kind of pressures I am getting and holding, but with the factory lines being so long, and likely cheaply made, do you think that braided lines will make a huge difference? Do you know if anyone has swapped them out and what were the effects? When I do the first valve check, I think I am going to measure them and order new stainless braided one? What are your thoughts?

    Thanks,
    -ace

Spud is that a 21” wheel on your RX3 ? If so, was it just plug and play or did it require a lot of modifications ?
    Thanks,
    Mel

Hey iv been reading your forums for a few months now and finally decided to take action on the cheap diy led headlight conversion for the crf250x. I bought one from china for $13, disconnected my stock headlight assemble from my tusk hi lo control switch (i made the stock bulb do hi lo b/c its dual filament) and directly connected the led bulb with the same color wires to the switch and it worked well. hi lo, and unscrewed the fan and put a scrap aluminum to block it. Put it all together and it was amazing. But after a hour long trip the led bulb stopped working and i was forced to use my back up led bar thats connected to my battery.. Bought another led bulb, same one, and a cheap universal 4 pin 12v DC R/R $9 thinking i could just wire it up and replace the stock one. Tired it and it still doesn't work. So i am left here confused and would love some advice. Will i just need to spend $170 on the trail tech stator and r/r plus wires?

Hi Spud my name is Louis and iam new to the forum. I own a ZongShen 200GY-2. i fixed the carburetor because the engine was not performing when i eventually managed to fix it the bike started right up. Long story short i switched the bike off 2days later go back wanting to start it and its dead. Checked for spark and nothing. I then went straight to stator cover side took it off and saw that the stator was shaving against the magneto causing the Source coil to burn.

I had it rewired and expected that once fitted the bike would start and still nothing. I did not suspect the CDI would be faulty as it was working but now i seem to think it is that. Ive tested the stator ohms is 1.4 per wire the resistance in the rewired source is very high though being 820ohms and the Pulsar coil is about 680 Ohms. Ive checked all the ground wires. Now the bike i tested the ignition coil and rectifier on is sold so i cannot test the CDI on it.

Could you please give me some advise
