Hey Dean sorry I'm just seeing this! I'm happy you took my advice. I have my apollo running great and I love to help other with their bikes as well. My iridium plug came pregapped and it worked perfect. That popping is normal if its happening very little and on deceleration. Should not pop while idle at all. Great job with the valves by the way. What main jet do you have in there? . I have a 115 main jet and an aftermarket exhaust. I have never had popping while idle. Just sometines when I'm decelerating hard. So here's what you can do. Put the original spark plug back in start it up and let me know if its still popping so that we can trouble shoot.

Hi, i was wondering if you could suggest what I should gap my plug at on the Apollo? The NGK they sent is about .020 in. and it seems to pop out of the exhaust at idle. Maybe that's normal, I've never had a 4 stroke before. Also, after my buddy came over and we set the valves to. 008 the bike would still die after warming up. The other day I did my first solo valve adjustment and on your advise I set them at .004 and now it idles perfect and doesn't die, thanks for that advice. Its just that popping sound every few seconds I'm wondering about. Thanks a whole lot for help.
