I'm in Portland Oregon i have a hawk 250
I have upgraded to a mikuni carb
Have not broke in the engine yet 18 mil on the odometer
I've adjusted the valves the first time i adjusted the valve i did it on the exhaust stroke so win i fired up the bike it ticked very lowed i did rev it a few times probably more than I should have. I watched a video and realized that i needed to adjust the valves on the compression stroke. exhaust .005 intake .004 i feel like the adjuster screw on the intake was damaged as is it is no longer flush since it ran with the valves lose should i replace the valve screws.
and i still am having trouble getting my hawk to idle correctly mikuni 100 mane jet elevation range 194-276 please help
