I'm brand new to the world of bikes. I bought a Venom x22/125cc last year. Only had it a week or two before it was stolen. Now I'm tearing it down and rebuilding it. As this is my 1st bike build, I've made a TON of mistakes! Like buying an ACTUAL Grom engine 1st, now I bought a 150cc that almost seems more trouble than it's worth, lol! I saw you liked some of my posts. Perhaps I can hit you up from time to time for advice? I did learn I have to rewire the bike to A/C to run the Honda engine. I'm buying all the parts little by little to do the full Grom/EFI swap. In the meanwhile, I thought I would learn on the Lifan. Figured it would be more straightforward a swap while I learn. Eventually, I'd like to have multiple engines and be able to swap them at my leisure. From what I've read, you can run a D/C engine off of an A/C harness but not vice-versa. I bought the Honda harness and plan to rewire the bike. But that's down the road. Thanks and have a good one.

    Sir
I wanted you to take a look at a video spoof I created and see if you approve of it before I attempt to post it. It has a little bad language.

    Hi Weld,
I posted a Utube clip on where I am at with the wiring.
I had to do a video, it will explain things much better.
With your guys experience I think I can do it. Your taillight is in the video, hopefully I get it installed properly. Maybe you can put your experience in the post. I know Spud is very experienced in the wiring. I appreciate it and it will help me out a lot!

    Thanks a lot!
