Yep! Useful for off-roading for sure; just release the throttle to shift. Down shift sometimes will be a bit stiff though. I normally use the clutch for first, then 'slap shift' after that. There is a very small margin of RPM range right before redline that you can shift with open throttle - but it's hard to time it right; and kind of only useful for track riding to escape shift lag.
I have the same poorly worded sticker on my gearbox too lol HEY do you actually have 6 gears?! I'm so jealous if you do...
