I wonder why Shinko puts a foil sticker inside their tires? Seems like it's asking for trouble.

Thanks for posting the warning.
I don't know why Shinko would put a foil sticker inside the tire. However, it's vital to inspect the inside of the tire before you mount it, and your post is a good reminder to always perform this inspection.

Thanks for the warning!
I sell tires daily to folks at work. Shinko's QC is not always the best, hence the fantastic price point. However, I agree with Spudd, always inspect your tires or really anything you purchase. You honestly never know if it was the item produced on a friday afternoon at 5pm whenever one else had gone home! |
