Tao Tao 110cc wants to take off as soon as I start it? Video

Well update: Did some more research and adjusted the clip on the carb needle to the top slot and it seems to have done the trick. We shall see. Still got to tune the carb.

I had the same problem. The new carb where the throttle cable goes into the brass on the top was too long I cut it in half problem solved. the correct carb is the pz16, not the pz20 look at the top you will see what I am talking about.

This is because you are using the wrong carb most likely, or wrong cable. The problem is the cable you are using is too short. Because it is too short, this results in the slide in the carb sitting halfway raised which is basically half throttle on. When the throttle is fully disengaged the slide needs to be all the way down, thus blocking any gas from entering.
