Gen 2 VADER 125 Seat Swap

Hey guys, don't really post much about mods I do on my 2018 Vader125 ,but I recently purchased a seat off Ebay ,and it has made such a huge change in comfort as well as "quality of life" while riding my Vader i just had to share.

The stock seat on the Gen 2 Grom clone Vader has a very pronounced" dip" or "cut out" in it that pretty much locks you into that seating position /location .At a hair over 6 feet this caused a not huge but always nagging feeling of being pushed too far forward on the bike ,knees too far forward .

This seat is a "flat" style and did completely away with that "dip" and now it is super easy to slide back when wheelie'ing and yet still offers good grip, it isn't "slippery"

I didn't have to modify ANYTHING to make it fit, i turned the seat unlock key, took old seat off, stuck new one on and WHAM done.

If you are , or even have EVER thought about a seat swap or gotten pissed off by that hump , give this seat a look ,it is a complete, entire seat NOT a cover kit .

Good looking out Red Crow!!
I picked up a cheap stock gen2 grom seat it mounted right up. It still has a lil hump but hard as a board. Not comfy at all. How would you rate this seat for stiffness??

I would rate the seat as a big improvement over the stock one comfort wise ,and the much thicker covering material will certainly last longer .Of course I just now installed it and took it for a quick test ride so to be perfectly honest i can't say about long term durability but the improvement was so dramatic even just sitting on the bike at rest , it was amazing.

Not to mention, this is an entire, ready to go seat for less than what some Companies are selling cover kits for,and it looks so good in real life, the photos on EBay really dont do it justice.I really wish i had done this swap a long time ago !
