Im back. Little quad

So after gave a friend my roketa db wich the carb faught me all the way, he was given im guessing a 49cc quad. I started poking around at it, the guy he got it from baught it at at auction.
Its got a broken frame, i can weld, no trouble there, the starter is missing, i dont know why, and the rear bearings feel real $hit-ty.
Heres pics for your enjoyment. What is it? The badge says shenwai the badge has taked some abuse so its hard to read. What is it? I think its going to his 8 year old grand daught.
Strange little thing. There is a alarm on it, and a swith of some kind on the back rail covered by a rubber cap.
A wiring diagram would be sweet.

That translates to a 110cc engine. That said, I've seen stampings lie before.

So looking around is it's a taotao 110. The switch on the back of the frame is mommys kill switch.

Size

the stamp on the black part of the motor does not lie... it is casted into the head part... it is not a semi as there is no place for the shifter.... this atv is popular make.. the real question is the front suspension or the rear swingarm,... if you are lucky it is not a GIO,,,, POOR SWINGARM BUSHINGS AND FRONT SUSPENSION SETUP.. the bearings for the rear axle are easy to pick up... check ebay if you can wait from CHINA cheap.. or locally about 3-5 times as much..

Stumbled on this old thread i started,.
Poor little guy sat outside all summer, and got blasted by sun, pelted by rain. Dragged the little quad in and put in new starter, new carb. Pretty much fired right up.
Im trying to hook up a relay for the starter.
Should there be 12v on the yellow/red wire fron starter button?
Can i just use a momenttary high amp button that is wired to the starter from the batter, and just bypass the original start button?
The kill swich works. Started button shows continuity. Were does the opower for the starter button come from?
It is charging. All systems are goog.

AC current from the recifier... DC current will burn the start button out in seconds..
the starter relay dose require quit a bit of current to oparate the magnetic switch..

there should be a diode somewhere near the starter relay to stop the AC & DC current
coming in contact with each other...

A high amp button powered straight from the battrey will work..

So now I can trigger the relay to start the motor with a length of wire. I just cant get juice to flow thru start button. It has continuity some times.. getting closer

I have 2 wiring harnesses for a 2016 Tao Tao 125. PM me with your address and I'll send you one.

Check here for a wiring diagram (thanks Jerry);

https://coolster.com/manuals-diagrams/

You'll have to register to get instant access. Diagrams can be found in some of the manuals. The 3125 models should have a diagram the same or close to yours.
