So I did get the kart running but I forgot about the ignition switch that I bought, I don't really know what to do with it because I connected it to a colors-matching plug and forgot about it. When I turn the key it doesn't do anything (which I expected since I have no computers or anything hooked up) but I just installed a trail tech vapor and I want to be able to turn the key and make the led on the vapor's screen light up. How do I do that?

I did order a air filter, but I didn't know I had to do more with the exhaust, do you mean weld a muffler on (because I have one to weld) I don't really want it quieter, do I have too?

Yes an exhaust causes restriction. You need the correct amount of air going in and the correct amount of air going out so to speak. No need to weld, there are many bolt on exhausts available. You just need to get one for your correct engine size.

I'm going to call the place where I ordered the engine and try to get a different wiring harness because I looked at their website and they sent me so many different colored wires and terminals compared to the pictures on their website, kinda pissed since I put so much work into it and I am not experienced enough to tell this was the wrong harness. This does mean I'll just use a relay and not risk problems with amps and stuff
