i may be crazy but i love getting that crate and putting it together..thats the best part! so that is driving me to go cb..lol
Yes, when I saw the XF in person, I was really impressed! But in the back of my mind I was thinking what a bummer, No crate to open, and I can't put it together. BUT, gokartsusa.com has the SSR bikes, SO you could still get an XF in a crate!

Remember this is saferwholesale the bait and switch kings. They took my money but never had any of the three bikes they sold me and getting my money back was a nightmare.

IF at all possible do what I did. Find a brick and mortar business within a reasonable distance from you. Call them and ask if they can get you a so and so. If yes tell them you want it in the unopened crate. And then go get it. Pay them when they show you the crate. You will most likely get your MSO and all the paperwork right there, drop the crate in your truck and roll. You are in the GREAT state of Texas, seems there is alot of distributors and dealer there.

ok, i have narrowed it down to ssr xf250 or pister pro xtr 250 lc..both around 2400-2500. it seems they both are of good quality. i will be riding 80-90% on the road so the ssr would probably be best...but man i do like the look of the pitster

They are both good looking bikes. One method I have always used to help me decide between two choices that are hard to make is to ask myself a simple question.

Which bike will I regret not buying more?

Another method I have always used in the world of off-road shenanigans is not to consider the 90%, but if you will be sorry if you ignored the 10%. Example, I am building a truck for overlanding, but I decide that a winch isn't worth installing on the truck because it won't be used for 99% of the time the truck is used, but that 1% when I need it, I will be kicking myself in the butt for not getting it.

If you never plan on trying any serious off roading, then the SSR will suit your needs perfectly. It will definitely make a better road bike to a degree. That big fat front tire is less than an inch smaller in diameter than the 21" wheel on the Pitster, and much wider. That width will give it slightly less responsive steering feel, even if it is slightly smaller in diameter.

well, i just had an email conversation will an ssr rep and he told me that ssr doesn't have any xf250s to drop ship, so if all these online dealers do not have them in stock...which we know they don't..we will have to wait for the next shipment of bikes. and he didn't have an eta of when that will be.

so,on to pitster. they are offering the last of there lxr 250f for 2999 plus shipping of usually 300! that's a smoking deal! they will be coming out with many more options this year, including enduro and possibly street.

so long story short either its an lxr for me or wait to see what they come out with...check out there instagram

Did you ask about any deals on the XTR 250? If they are knocking that much off the price of the LXR, then I bet they can make some sort of deal with the XTR.

Unless you have the funds for the LXR. If you do, then I would say go for it. EFI, quite a bit more power, lots of upgrade options, amazing suspension, aluminum rims and CNC hubs and triple trees. It's basically the XTR on steroids.
