It's even easier drilling said holes out a measly 2mm. Already a nice sized pilot hole there, so keeping it straight and centered isn't very difficult. Plus a 10mm drill bit is 10 bucks or less.

Yes ,it’s easy ,just make sure you get a long enough bit as the clutch cover and the flywheel cover don’t allow close access for a drill .
