LOL, Brave? No. Crazy? yes but not as crazy as my brother-in-law on his HD street rod. He leans it so far over that sparks fly from the foot pegs. He scares the crap out of me. lol I've seen him drag the pipes on right hand curves. Notice the flat spot on the bottom of the pipe. lol

His Ride.

Yeah, but leaning a street bike on street tires over that far is a lot less risky in my eyes. I have touched both pegs of my VFR to the road a couple of times now and thought nothing of it, and that bike can lay over. Leaning my very tall Hawk on off road type tires is a very very different experience lol

I can get the Storm up to speed whenever you're done with it

of all the hawk videos I have watched...
one thing I have noticed in all of them is the
engine noise...
there is a lot of mechanical noise.. wonder if it
is because it has no balancer...

That's just how they all are. Valvetrain clatter makes up a big majority of it. The clutch basket at lower rpm does make a teeny bit as well, and with the compression raised it is actually a hair louder with the stonger pulses.

The engine isn't as noisy as it sounds on the video. I think that's because I have the camera mounted on the handle bar close to the engine and picking up vibration noise too being it was solid mounted. I thought the same thing the first time I watched it. I went and check the bike after to see if I had something loose. If you watch some of my other videos with the helmet cam you will notice it sounds more normal.
