This is a fine place to post your announcement. However, you are also welcome to place a post in our Free Classifieds Forum.

I think your price for both bikes is certainly more than reasonable.

RX-3 is gone.

Sold it today. The new owner says he will continue to work with Dynojet Research. The are working on an O2 sensor solution.

Thank you Spud. I'll drop in from time to time. I've been looking at the ZeroS the last few days.

They advertise the S as having a 197 mile range, but that is with the extra $2500 battery pack. I'll probably be passing. There is an electric Grom coming from the copybike makers that might be worth a look.

A shameless plug for Joe Berk's new book:

I enjoyed the first one, so I thought I would try another.

Lots of good info about Colombia that I didn't know.

It's written in an informal, easy to read style.

Wish the inside pictures were in color....but then I probably couldn't afford it.

from me.

Thanks, JB. I could barely afford to buy one even with my discount if the photos were in color. On the last book, 5000 Miles At 8000 RPM, I probably sold 200 B&W books for every one that was in color, so I didn't bother with a color version on this one. The price would be more than double if it was in color.

Having said that, Colombia was some of the best riding I've ever done, and Juan's new tour company (explained in the last chapter) is something worth looking into.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Only now saw your response, Joe.

I didn't realize the first book had a "color photo" option.

At double the price, I think I would have hesitated making the purchase.

But I have enjoyed the color Colombia photos on the Blog.

I enjoy your writing style. It's like you're sitting across the table sipping una cerveza.

And wishing continued success with Moto Colombia.

Check out the CSC blog ... The RC3 is officially on its way with a special intro price. Looks nice! I didn't realize it has ABS.

I also was pleasantly surprised by the ABS braking.

We have a Zongshen RC3 thread posted in our Street Forum, at the following link.

Here are the rumors from China regarding future editions of the Zongshen RX motorcycles.

The RX4 will have a 350 cc engine.
The RX5 will have the NC450 engine.
The RX7 will have a 500 cc, V-Twin engine.

I haven't heard anything regarding an RX6 bike.

My Zongshen ZS200GY-2 ran for 70,000 miles, until I submerged the engine in a mud pool. However, I have resurrected the bike with a heart transplant, a 1992, Yamaha XT225 engine. If you wish, you can read about my engine transplant at the following thread.

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15995

Zongshen builds good motorcycles with excellent engines.

Very nice replacement! My husband was just asking me about the RX3 and if the engine went dead on that some day. I looked at him and said, there is always a Honda or Yamaha motor that can take its place!

It's not inexpensive, but CSC sells complete RX3 engines.
