How to find older threads?

I find that some of the links posted bring me to the front page. I assume there was an upgrade to the site. Is there a way to find older threads? Thanks

Yes, the website changed owners and was updated a few months ago. That's why some of the old links won't work. There is no other solution than choosing good search terms while trying to find the desired thread.
