you will have to post what is and isn't happening so me and the other gang bangers around here can understand .What does "won't turn on " mean exactly ?does any lights go on ?does it sound like the starter is turning when you push the starter button ? Or did it just say either good night ,or more than likely nothing at all ,then turn its back on you and go to sleep ?

Pull the clutch in before hitting the starter button.Sometimes mine shows it's in neutral on the dash but it's not.

I put the key in and hit the start button and the starter turns the engine over but it won't fire up, it has had because I took the plug out and it's wet. Bike has less than 10 miles on it, it cranks but doesn't turn on, battery died so I jumped it with my truck turned off

Is there anything else I should be looking for on the kill switch besides it being up or down?

Do you have a meter ?you can disconnect the wires and check for continuity .I don't specifically know the hawk ,does it have a kick stand switch? Is the bike in neutral ? Have you tried kick starting the bike?

Can you short out the starter solenoid to get it to crank?

I once had an old Jetmoto enduro that came with a 200cc Zongshen engine. Had the same issues and it turned out to be a fouled spark plug. I would change the plug to begin.
