Performance carb for Roketa/Lifan motor?

Ok I have seen some "performance racing" replacement Lifan motors on Ebay with carburators with accelerator pumps, anybody know what are they and where i can get one of these upgraded carbs with accel pumps?

I also own a Yamaha xt 250 (1980) and this one does have a factory carb with an accelerator pump but mounting flange is completely different then my Roketa Rkm 200-E, linkage is also diff.

Has anybody bought one these "Lifan replacement motors" ??
Are they the same as the stuff that comes on the Rocketas/gy/yamoto/etc?

I was going to measure the intake mm on one of my bikes then look for a mikuni or keihin type that would fit (I've got access to x-ref. charts at my work). Then it might be possible to do jetting? :? I've seen the accelator pump carbie for Lifan somewhere too but I can't remember where right now. My main limiting factor for performance is the compression ratio, air filter, and exhaust. Not sure a carb upgrade would do much - only would go down this road just for the tinkering.

Du'h looked at my yamaha carb with the acccel pump, it's a Mikuni.
So, since most of the stuff on our bikes seem to mimic Honda, anybody know of any Honda's in the 200cc to 250 cc range that might use a Mikuni carb?

Found a double pump 27 mm carb that would fit on our bikes

Take a good look at the idle mixture screw in the middle , the exact same one on my Roketa 167 FML, same float bowl and same general appearance except for the accelerator pump circuits.
Same mounting flange

If you wanna really do some mods, talk to Jay Wright at http://www.barebones.net . He's the guru of one off performance thumpers, but I don't know if he's ever seen a Chinese bike. He built one of my XR100 motors and about doubled its horsepower and it ain't even a stroker motor, just a big bore 123cc. The head is a work of art with 33% larger titanium valves, re-angled, megacycle full race cam. I run a 28mm carb on that engine.

It might be a good idea since the bikes are XR clones. Not exact clones, but very similar. With the boom in these bikes, especially at the pit bike level, if they can be worked on, it would be right for Mr. Wright (couldn't resist) to work on them.

I hear you, once learn how to drive my bike I wouldnt mind upgrading to a bigger motor or swapping a honda motor in my bike. I have a sports bike so I really could use some more power.

I have a hopped up XR100, my carb mod was to put a larger bore one from an ATC200X on it. Along with many other mods, that bike can carry my 250lbs faster than a stocker with a 90lb kid on it.

That pumper carb looks pretty nice! Hope it is better than the one that shipped with my Lifan motor, I was less than impressed.

Gonna have to look at that one!
