Lifan part needed, can't find.

I've spent the morning searching taobao.com for the part I need for a Lifan 163FML-2M with no success. Got the translate function working in Chrome though. Can anyone help? The part I need is the "driven gear, balance shaft" number 23 in the diagram. Thanks

If above don't fits, someone from mychinamoto.com may help | Lifan (Local Rate# http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toll-fr...l-free_numbers) : 400 735 0002

Thanks humanbeing, I think the order for the Loncin part has been submitted properly. Looks the same as the Lifan part.

Wrong keyword found NOthing in TB.
--
Step 1: Translate "balanced" in translate.google.com. The default result is NOT the correct one. Click & copy the one matchs the parts catalog. Something started w/ [平] (flat)
Step 2: AS above BUT this time is "driven"
Step: Paste the keywords in TB & DONE.

Thanks for the explanation. I'd never have found the part without your help.

Dealing through Taobaotrends.com has been interesting. Part was $16.13 with their fees. Shipping was $24.19 (cheapest way) including fees. Total of $40.32 is quite a bit to pay for the gear but I'm glad to be able to get it and would have paid more if necessary. If Honda sold the part it'd probably be $100. Delivery should take about 2 weeks according to their web site.

After I get back from Arizona in March I'll install it and disassemble the old one to see what the springs look like. Used to be that you could buy springs and rivets to rebuild the cush gears on many bikes which would have been easier, cheaper, faster.

Indeed, you take a big hit on shipping costs for the first kilogram. However, the shipping rate drops dramatically for each additional kilo. Therefore, I always try to order everything I need with each shipment from China, in order to minimize the shipping charges.

X2. I keep a folder in my favourites which is intended for my next Taobao order, and I buy everything I want at once to maximize on shipping savings. Buying one item at a time tends to be more costly.

What do you guys order from Taobao?

The only parts I've ever needed besides this gear for the Lifan were: Rear suspension linkage - $15 from Hooper, Clutch - $38 from eBay, front brake pads - $9 from eBay. All other parts such as tires, chains, sprockets are commonly available from multiple sources in the US.

Among other things, I have ordered CDI units, plastic, levers, cables, pistons, piston rings, foam air filters, et cetera.

I've ordered all of those things, plus cylinders, pistons, crankshafts, clip-ons, rearsets, handlebars, etc.
