CSC RX3 Adventures in Ohio, and Beyond

Got out for a while yesterday on the new bike. Found some great dirt and gravel roads to explore only a bit from home.

The RX3
Famous Wally Road

3000 lumen LED spot light goodness

Is that really a road??? Let's find out!

my favorite pic of the ride

It looks like it was a beautiful day for a ride. Thanks for posting the great photos.

Your blue RX3 looks great. I see you ordered a lot of nice options with the bike.

CSC Skid Plate
CSC Hand Guards
Auxiliary Lighting
Shinko Tires
Dashboard Power Outlets

What tank bag did you install?

THe LED spotlights are one's I bought. CSC asking over $200 for their set is (IMO) kinda WAY overpriced. The ones I bought were $39 for the pair, and are 3000 lumen Cree U5 LEDs.
Had to modify the clamps a bit to fit right, but that was easy. These are focused spots, not floods.

Spud, I am a tankbagaholic. I have a vast collection. This one is a medium Tourmaster and is kinda old and faded, but will work for now.

Thanks for the clarification on the LED spotlights. They sound like an excellent value. Can you post a link to a vendor who sells them?

If you have time, please post a new thread on the LED spotlights, and tell us how you modified the clamps, and how you chose to hook up the wiring.

I too enjoyed the photos , beautiful country, that's one thing we don't have here, the changing of the colors... just, always "multiple shades of green"

I need to get some pic's posted of my Cree spot lights too. I mounted mine inside the crash bar frame in an attempt to protect them for the eventual drop.

Nice pics! That dirt track in the trees is my favorite kind of place to explore. That blue bike looks good, too :-)

Rode with a group of ADV DS nut jobs yesterday. RX3 made it through every challenge.

to be honest, it was a bit more than I was ready for several times. I think my zealous nature overode common sense. There was a climb up a power line trail over a VERY steep ridge that I did. Throttle pinned the entire climb, RX3 jumping and bouncing the whole way.
Guy on the DRZ400 said it was the most entertainment he had had for years riding behind me yesterday.

The RX3 is a pretty good dual sport, certainly better than the bigger ADV bikes. Handles better on road than a actual dual sport too. It's a pretty good compromise!

That second pic looks like the trails I've been riding around here in upstate NY.

Thanks for posting the beautiful photographs.

A 13T/46T sprocket combination, and an aftermarket, Progressive shock absorber will make the technical riding much easier.
