Old 2006 Tank 250 touring

Hi, I just got this Tank with the 244cc Honda Helix clone engine. It does run but needs work so I figured I better join a forum because I'll probably have some questions as i proceed with this project. So far i ordered a fuel pump and i should have that in a few days. It doesn't seem to be charging either but it only has 1,700 miles on the odometer and the speedometer is working. The engine sounds solid. We shall see.
