How much have you put into your hawk?

Hey guys so I've done a lot to my bike so I started to total up how much $$ I've put into the bike. So here's the list
Hawk - $1350
Mikuni Carb - $30
Sprockets - $30
Chain - $20
MSR Shifter - $22
Tires & Inner Tubes - $135
Oil Cooler - $62
Tach - $95
Lights - $25
Paint - $25
Exhaust(ordered waiting for delivery) - $170
Replacement fluids(fork and engine oil) -$35

Total:$2000 +/-

So far a great investment. Definitely worth every dime. Thanks to all you members on here who shared your expertise and advice.

I am just over 1900$ so far. I am probably going to buy some paint as well to do the exhaust and headers black.

Just don't wreck it...I broke the tabs on the headlight, $60, front fender, $50, front left plastics, $50, back left plastics $40, handlebars $40, clutch lever $30. Cheap bike until you have a minor crash and have to pay over 20% of the cost of the bike on parts.

Not much so far....purchased from TXPowersports for $1350.00. When NJ wouldn't title it I called the seller and cried a bit that the Hawk is advertised as "Street Legal", when in fact it is not in NJ, they offered me $250 credit or I could re-crate it and they would pay for return shipping, Since I had already disposed of the crate and assembled the bike I decided to keep it. received the credit and will likely reg it in VT.

Carb and sprockets, so maybe like another 70 bucks,,,,

I'm satisfied...

Prob not blacklisted. I dont think they check and/or respond to their email. I emailed them about 2 weeks ago to get a price on a replacement Hawk gas tank and still havent heard anything. Now my tank is being held together by cold steel repair epoxy.

I seriously doubt the oil cooler does anything, there isn't much flow to the valves. If one could install it further upstream, then it might be useful.

When I had my Vipers and Hawks, I only put on OKO/KOSO slide carbs and better NGK plugs.

Edit: New Tires after we had worn down the originals.
