I do, it works great right out of the box unlike the carb models. It's a lot like modern efi cars vs older carb cars, hassle free, no choke to set during warmup or need to manually open the throttle ect, just starts and runs without the bs. Other than that I believe the forks are an upgrade and the gauge cluster is a little nicer. I believe those are the only real differences.

I have one as well, and I enjoy the just push-the-button-and-go no-warmup. It runs great.

FYI, a carburetor can be cleaned and adjusted, whereas a failed EFI module or other parts of an EFI system can be puzzling, or difficult to diagnose/fix. Also EFI is more likely to fail catastrophically, stranding you on the highway somewhere. Carry an extra pump and all of the tools to replace it???

That said, a working carburetor can fail, and it might need cleaning, or jetting. But you will get home to fix it. Jets cost under $5. Low tech has its advantages.

I chose a Brozz 250, it's pretty much a dlx with a carb. I've been let down by EFI before on a 4 wheeler and it was not a good time at all. Also EFI would require a power commander to make tweaks where as a carb can easily be jetted and modded.

I bought the carbureted model specifically because I hate electrical problems , no way trust a Chinese computer and a new carb is 28 bucks 10 bucks for a set of 15 different jets.

Anybody ever replace the throttle body of the EFI bikes with a carburetor, Just wonder what the computer would do if one did that.

Except there has never been an instance of a failed EFI at all.

Not even one.

Search the forum.

Now search for carburetor. Lolol. Pages and pages of problems.

Lots of unwarranted fear of the efi from the carb crowd. Yet the carb crowd already had to tune, replace and repair the factory carb that didn't even run right out of the box. The efi guys just hop on and ride as far as tune is concerned.

I don't know the fuel pressure differences but if you were to remove the tbody and install the carb at the proper fuel pressure the efi system wouldn't care and it would run still, basically you would only be using the electronics for the timing side of things.

For me its not so much the fear of problems with EFI and instead the lack of tuneability of the Chinese EFI system that's the big gotcha.. You cannot adjust for severe lean conditions and cannot eek out the extra performance from the simple boltons that wake these bikes up when you have the EFI.. But for sure.. If I was just looking for hop and go without ever looking to get more power then it would have been EFI for me..

Seems more like it's a lack of knowledge for you. There is free tuning software options with very cheap diy tuning port adapters. The ecu is a very common Delphi mt05 unit.

People have their preferences. No biggie. EFI or carb both have there issues. It is just a matter of opinion.

It didn't run right out of the box to pass EPA.
