Head Scratching FXx from CCW

Damn, by the time I get to make me one of those "mountain bike-motorcycle" hybrids they might be mass produced:

http://www.topspeed.com/motorcycles/...4671.html#main

I don't know if they are related to those Kiwis from http://www.fxbikes.com/ (because of the name), but I sure hope they'll make these bikes "purchasable" soon!

I like those a lot. I've considered making one, but I'm more inclined to make a board track racer.

A friend of mine has made several 80cc 2-stroke bicycle hybrids from Micargi beach cruiser-type bicycles, and with the recent trend of those large wheeled/large tired bicycles, I can envision my friend turning one of those into one of his creations?! (sorry cannot link photo)

thats nice...
FX here in NZ have been playing around with them for almost 5 years
& still havn't put a bike on the market.. and I don't think they ever will..
they had the idea & just mucked around with all these diffrent versions
in stead of getting a bike on the market.. We are going to do this & this
but have done nothing really.. Now it seems theres a few other builders
that have jumped a head of them... you can already buy the Sikk bike...

CCW published more details about the FXX. The max load of only 85kg seems worrying (yep, I'm fat ):

Even the discounted price seems out of line to me.

This Rocky FX 125 from Puzey looks really nice. Apparently the testing rider is far superior than me and makes it "cool", but still check this video:

I thought you guys knew about this ,there's a bunch of companies strapping pitbike motors on mountain bikes. If you check them out they solve a lot of the things I don't like about motorcycles. If it falls over super easy to pick up , fuel efficiency able to go every where. I just wish them were cheaper or maybe I can copy one.I have a extra pitster pro 140cc motor that could power it.
