Never even crossed my mind. Not a bad idea, but i would like to find a style I like, and the funds have run dry for now.

I took some measurement when I got home. It looks like anything that would fit the CRF230 would work. Amazon has some for under $15 and found some nice cnc aluminum around the $35 range. I'll post a link when I find exactly what I'll get.

I really would like longer (wider outward) pegs, if anything. My wide feet struggle lol

foot pegs should be one of the most important things for ones bike for me its about stability ,i am sure the rubbers are comeing out for me as well as ,i think its one of the most overlooked items bigger better yes ,unless you have very very small feet ,not me big foot pegs are on the list ,an mabey even a built in heal support too,at 25 its fine dumping the bike at 50 not much fun i bet most guys that drop the bike from there foot slipping off the rubber ,

I would say mostly in the woods seen though ,couse the peg broke or one foot slips off,i got some on order dont know if they will work will find out though there like 2 inches wide x 3 inches long at 265 i want good pegs ,i think someone said the crf pegs work but sit forward a bit ,then another says the rx3 pegs work to,but dont the size of them,i want the kind the guys that take huge jumps use ,that you can stand a feel stabil on

Put a GPS tracking device on your shopping list. You'll probably never need it, but wouldn't it be fun to catch the crooks if it happens again?

They're cheap on Ebay.

Dan,

If i where you i would start it and put a few miles on it stock to make sure all is well. It would suck to put a ton of work in it and have internal issues. Haven't worked on your cluster yet, Sorry. Hopefully this weekend. Really getting pissed with the lack of response of my last couple orders from China as well. Seems i'm chopped liver for some reason. Guess orders of 50-100 at a time are shoved to the back burner......

Dan, I noticed you're adding a, "cheap alarm". I'm thinking of doing the same. Where can I find them? Thanks!

Run it stock? Where is your sense of adventure?

I am not worried about how long it takes you to do something that you are doing out of kindness. Get it done when you can get it done.

It definitely does seem like the distributor you are dealing with has really dropped the ball lately. Seems an odd way to treat a repeat customer, but like you said, maybe it is due to the order quantity. They may have somebody new in charge of the orders as well, and they simply aren't as good at the job as the last person. Hopefully they pull their heads from their nether regions soon.

The one Jerry linked. Nothing extraordinary, but it is a good effective noise maker. If nothing else, it will annoy and deafen the person trying to walk away with the bike.

As far as the foot pegs go, I have only found two foot pegs in the style I would actually like, and neither of them are cheap. A majority of the foot pegs on the market just don't offer what I would really like to get out of a set of pegs. The two types of pegs that meet my length criteria are;

Fastway Adventure pegs - About as not cheap as you can get.
IMS Adventure 1 pegs - nothing specifically made for the 230F. Also no cheap, but quite a bit cheaper than the Fastway pegs.

Other than that, not much interests me. I have wide feet, so longer pegs would be of more benefit to me than "wider" pegs. I may place an order for one of the more generic "wide" sets just to give them a try though, but it's not that high on my priority list.

Generic pegs.

I was looking at the same ones just to see how they fit. I stand a lot when on the trails and the stock pegs look iffy as far as strength. I can see me busting my rear when one give way. If the those work out as far as fit then i'll order these. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Moto...ceBeautifyAB=0
