Camper/Toyhauler Conversion - Page 5

It's been a while since we've done anything to the camper between hurricane repairs and just being plain busy playing music now that things are getting back to almost normal. So over the weekend I build another fold up bed. We're spending the weekend down at the marina playing music and will be bring the camper to sleep in instead of driving back a forth. It's a good hours drive and don't feel like driving back home @ 2am in the morning.

Two weekends ago I installed a fold down table. My awning came in today so I'll have to find time to install it. After that it's paneling on the walls then the floors. The end is near.

Here's a few picture from two weekends ago. We had a gig at one of the campgrounds. The place is called Paradise Ranch https://paradiseranchrv.com/attractions/ . There are Red Stage Deer that walk the entire campground. We have to go back in June and a couple more times this year to play. Best part is we have free access to the entire campground including Golf Carts.

Update: Got the awning installed on Saturday while I had some friends over to help. It was much easier than I thought it would be.

I have not completed my conversion. I still have floors and walls to finish. The Hurricane had kind of put a halt to finishing it out for now but still usable. eventually I'll get it completed once we finish making hurricane repairs around the house. Here's a little picture video on where I'm at right now.

Well after putting everything on hold because of COVID and the hurricane, I finally put flooring in the camper.

I installed rubber flooring in the garage bay of the camper last Saturday. Tomorrow I start on finishing the walls. I want to get everything finished up by the end of February if not sooner.

I did some more work on the camper this afternoon. Built an entertainment center over the wheel well. The TV will be wall mounted. I'll probably put beaded board over the cabinet the width of the top.

It's been pouring down raining all day. I pulled the awning out so I'll have a halfway dry place to set up the saw. I installed beaded board over the entertainment center. I even managed to get two coats of polyurethane on it. I had the heater running to help with the drying.

Built three cabinet doors this morning and installed the TV wall bracket.
