TT250 jets?

The only jets I can find for a Keihin pz30 take 3 months to ship from China. Anyone know where I can find a 100+ jets? I tried JD but they didnt have it although they had kits for larger Keihin carbs, and jetsrus seems to have some but I cant be sure im buying the right ones

I know MotoCheez and many others were changing the jets on their stock Hawk carbs. I don't know if it the carb though.

Jets-r-us has keihan jets. Also Mikuni, of course. I suggest you take out the main and pilot jet, write down the numbers and call jets-r us for their recomendations.

Here's a previous thread on the TT250 Carb.

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=17013

See post #15. JetsRUs has main jets in stock. 99101-393 Genuine Keihin jets. Should arrive at your mailbox in a couple of days.

I haven't seen a replacement for the slow jet.

Post a picture of the slow jet, need to know if it uses a genuine Keihin or the elusive China jet and a picture will answer that as they look nothing alike.

I goofed when I drilled mine (elusive China jet), I thought I had grabbed one drill size up from the size that fit, but, turns out I grabbed two sizes up and it is now too big.

Damn. That's rough. I'm going to assume its a legit keihin jet for now and order from jets r us, since I dont feel like taking out the carb before I have replacement jets. Got 110, 112, & 115, larger for the new exhaust I ordered

if it is the same carb as the Hawk, you need Mikuni large round, not Keihin.

When I was first at CSC looking at the TT and talking to Steve he said their guys had played with the carb a little. He didn't know the specs, but said they'd put in a bigger main and lowered the needle and it seemed to work well. This combo would richen at heavy throttle without richening the cruise throttle which makes sense to me. Maybe give them a call or email and see if they have jets and/or suggestions.

MUCH easier to tune. Jets available in many places. Information easy to come by. The Mikuni VM26 works really well on this engine.
