Not sure what is wrong with my charging system

Hey guys

I have a 2005 huwain dual sport reminds me of a lifan it keeps blowing batteries I have changed the voltage regulator two times one like the one that came from the factory a 4 wire. Then i noticed it is set up on the harness for five wire so got one of them. Same thing blew another battery checked with voltmeter never went over 14.5 volts but i think when i continuously ride twenty or more miles it keeps charging.The bike only has 400 miles on it. Any suggestions i am stumped?

Have you pulled the stator and tested for a short?

Yup changed it out as well I think i figured it out the battery box was right on top of the exhaust. I moved the box to where they normally are on these bikes will find out as soon as i get a battery if it worked.But thanks tho.

If your battery box is right on top of your exhaust move it. It will destroy your battery quickly.
