48 Years

That's how long Mrs.C and I have been married as of today. I was actually home for a change, too. The weather was so nice that we rode the Ural to dinner. As it is now almost two hours of brain damage to get to the Stage Stop in Wilmot, WI from Cheesy Manor, we opted for local and decided on the Sidecar Supper Club in Batavia, IL. 20 minutes instead of two hours.

Our daughter had been there and told us it was pretty good. She also told us that the owner had a Ural and that she also skated for her old roller derby team. What was weird was that a woman walked up to the Ural when we parked and by the questions she asked, she was familiar with them. So I asked if she was the owner of the Sidecar Supper Club. She was. She asked me about Ural gatherings and I gave her what I knew and the names of some other local owners.

BTW, the food was great. I think we may have found a new hang out.

While I do have a couple of friends that are girls, I don't have a girlfriend.

Girlfriends are too damned expensive, and there ain't no one out there worth half my crap.

Cheaper to keep her.
