whats a fair price

im selling my 2006 lifan 200gy5. :( its almost a year old and has 7500miles and in good order. what do reckon its worth?

why, because im not looking forward to another wet season riding around panama city, so im buying a car.

obviously once i have sold it, i will ban myself from this forum.

is it 7500 kms or miles? my odometer reads in KM so it would be like 13000 kms or whatever to be 7500 miles. I would say that if it runs good and whatnot, you could probably get 300-500 bux.. but why sell a good bike for that little of money? why not just keep it on the road for the nice days and get a cheap car for the rainy ones?

I just can see selling something that is worth so little in value to begin with, for even less... i figure i'll keep my lifan till it blows up, or till someone offers me some great amount of money for it.

I agree with Suave, and it's a great testiment to these bikes to see that kind of mileage and still running strong. I'd keep it until it wont run any longer. Bound to be a few nice days in Panama!!

my odometer is in km and reads 12000km. i posted it in miles as its what im use to and maybe a lot of other people here too. i bought it new a year ago for 1300dollars, i was hoping for a bit more than 300/500. otherwise u r right, i will keep it and ride it into the ground. :evil:

LOL, park it near the Suzuki/Kawasaki/Honda/Yamaha dealership with a 'for sale--$1000' sign. Not everyone knows about China bikes yet!
