Newbie looking trigger pulled!!!!

Been lurking here a bit, but think I found a good deal. Two Rhino 250s owner states less than 5 hrs on both red and blue 2500. Prob can walk with both for 2200 and have mod money. My first experience with an atv, so a bit hesitant. curious your guys take.

They look good and clean in the pictures. Price may be a little high since they could be bought new for under $1200 each delivered a couple years ago. Keep in mind that they are manual transmissions with a clutch rather than the more common CVT. The CG engines are bullet proof and easy to service.

Thanks mudflap. I’m thinking within the 2000-2200 range is what I’ll spend. I don’t need two but would be nice to have one to ride and one to wrench on learn the ins and outs. That extra 300 bucks would be used for new carbs, sprockets and chains.

Well passed on the first deal but came across a great deal I couldn’t pass up. Guess it was meant to be found these two 2017 rhinos brand new red never been used black 2 hrs. Clean 1800 cash. Had to drive 2 hrs to get them but we’ll worth it. Guess I’m part of the club. Got to get used to the manual. Thanks for all the info on these post to help me make my decision. Chains, carb and spaces on the way.

Thanks just want to make sure I’m buying the proper items. Are these correct ? I’m a bit confused on the chain. Can someone point me in the right direction.

The carb looks to be the right one... and the wheel spacers are correct 4x110

That was a much better deal for the two Rhinos.

Thanks Darth Racer will be studying your threads well. Phots don’t work in my pic for some reason. Ordered spacers carbs. I’m confused about chain. Which is a better fit

It should be 530 chain. No guarantees if it was an earlier production date. Some of the first off the line were 428 chain as they changed over from the 250D model to the newer upgraded Rhino model.

If you will be doing sprocket upgrades for better low end torque and take offs, the sprockets you get will dictate what chain you buy.

Stick with 530 if you go that route. It is also a good idea to get some half links too. Tractor Supply Co #50 chain half links work fine.
