Joe Berk here. Joe Gresh and I started a website shortly after I retired from CSC (I'm the good-looking one in the photo below). I recently posted a story (a listicle, we call them) that states 9 reasons why you should ride a Chinese motorcycle. Lots of mindless criticism on Facebook followed (as expected), and we know (and are amused by) that kind of feedback when we get it. Anyway, the folks here might enjoy our musings. We need alternatives, and some China bikes are a great alternatives to Nipponese and European bikes.
I have to disagree with the post that the "Chinese will never build bikes in the US".
Maybe not in my lifetime, but they will.
