should the ZS172FMM-6 be 6 speeds?

the 172fmm-6 is the 4 valve head, 5 speed non balanced engine.

if you wanted 6 gears then the engine designation is the 172fmm-5 counterbalanced 6 speed.

the dash number does not relate to the number of gears....

That 5 speed 4 valve engine looks GREAT. I wish I could justify ordering one to install in my Templar X. Awesome. The price is more than half of what I paid for my entire motorcycle!
