Greetings, all. Looking hard at the 250 Brozz also. Looking for a small dual sport like this for my wife and and these seem like maybe a good way to go for the price. I'm sure they're not perfect but I've been turning wrenches on bikes for years so I don't imagine a 250 single would present too much that I couldn't deal with. Since these seem more rare than the Hawks is getting parts an issue?
I just signed up for the site here today so I may not have seen the thread that talks about parts.

Hi welcome to the forum. Most of the parts on these bikes are interchangeable. Amazon, ebay and Taobao have almost everything you will need. Look to CSC for everything else.

Gotcha. Thanks! I may have to get one of these for myself as I'm thinking I'm going to steal hers when I can

Ordered mine from the same place and day as you. Also shipped out yesterday. Looks like we may get ours close to the same time!

Now it is a race. What carrier did they use for you?

Where do you live?

Read the Taobao tutorial found on this site. You'll have to look it up. I use Taobaotrends. This is a complete front and rear set with tires and wheels with the alloy rims. These are the tires that came on my bike and I think they do a good job. You have to measure the brake drum as there are 2 basic sizes with the Chinese dual sports. You can contact the sellers and ask for the right size brake drum. The shipping from China will run about the same as the part so double the price you see for the part and you'll be close.

So is the steel / aluminum selection determine if the rim is steel or aluminum it is not real clear to me because I found others that specified aluminum alloy but more expensive.

Yes it is about the rim being steel or alloy. Less unsprung weight is better and the alloy wheel's had the fatter spokes. I don't know what the steel rimed wheels in the link I posted come with? I do know that the rear steel wheel that came on my bike has the thin spokes that where pulling out of my hub.
