Issues with Foremost. Who will insure my SSR?

I've have my SSR insured by Foremost Insurance since I bought it in 2014. They just sent me a brief note and a refund check, saying my policy is cancelled. I called and apparently it's because they couldn't read the date on one of the docs I signed for them recently to renew. And they skimped me on the refund for the prorated premium I had already paid. I usually pay the whole year in advance and have never been late. They say I have to request a new policy and start over so I'm very frustrated.

My premium had been steadily dropping with them over the years and I was paying $150 per year for full coverage. Now they want over $400 and they are giving me a hard time about the make/model. I've been happy with Foremost until this point. Anyone have suggestions on other companies insuring chinabikes?

Geico had by far the best rates when I checked around. I have a KPX 250 and have liability, property, uninsured motorist and $2000 medical (to cover copays) and no collision or comprehensive since parts are relatively cheap and I pay $70/yr.

Having sold property and vehicle insurance in the past, I know that Foremost is generally an insurer of last resort. So I am thinking either that you initially wound up at the wrong insurer, or we are not getting the full story...

They are owned by Farmers, who I had my homeowners and cars bundled with for discounts. Yes, Foremost wouldn't give me much info when I called, and just said it was the brokers fault and to call them. I recently switched from a Farmers broker to Good Sam, maybe that got them mad?
