Registering an E moto.

I'm in the nyc area and was wondering if anyone has had any success registering their electric motorcycle.

For reference, I have an E-vader from belmonte bikes. I haven't gotten around registering it, but wondered if anyone has done so. If so, what is the process like?

With a 35mph top speed, it will have the same licensing requirements as a gas powered 50cc scooter, me thinks.
