I believe that vehicle is Chinese, OG. I posted a thread on these forums about a similar Chinese vehicle about a year ago.

Spud, I finally found out what this is, it's a Moto Marca, 200 cc Zongshen engine, water-cooled, metal body, the new ones sell for $5750. It's sold as a mototaxi but it has a steering wheel and power brakes, I'd love to drive one someday.

I just returned from Colombia and Ecuador, rode up to Cali and put my Versys in storage, then spent a week in Quito with my amigo and riding partner, Ron. Checked out a lot of moto shops, photos attached.

It's around 1500 miles from Lima to Cali, the real adventure is dealing with the corrupt policia on the Panamericana Norte in Peru. Ecuador is great, regular gasoline is fixed at $1.48! I've ridden allover Colombia without problem, that said there is a heavy military presence on the major highways in the south, soldiers everywhere, all giving a thumbs up, telling me that the road ahead is secure. The Versys has served me well for 57,000+ miles.

I like the scooter also, it's a 150 Fatty, they are assembled in Ecuador.

Thanks, those trees are called Jacarandas, they are incredibly beautiful. I use a Nikon SLR most of the time but took a new Canon S90 on this ride, the S90 and S95 are great low light compacts, I don't go anywhere without it, great photo quality, I love this camera, here are some more S90 photos.
