I like the look and colors. And there's the EFI everyone's been wondering about.

I told Caesar to post his first ride video here since so many of us have been anxiously awaiting this bike. If he doesn't, I will.

Picked mine up last Wed, put about 85 miles on it this weekend. I must say the quality looks better than I expected, went together great, everything was tight, AND it came with a lithium battery. Don at Advance Merchandise Company is great to deal with. The bike rides and feels great, but the EFI is just not quite right. It think it may be the idle is just too low. The bike will cut out at stops and quick throttle blips from idle will stall it. I hope this is an easy fix(anyone's help would be appreciated)!

Yes, this is my first post, so "Hello."

Welcome aboard! Don is a good guy to deal with. Always willing to help out. Is there an idles speed screw you can adjust?

Thanks Bro! There is one obvious screw on the throttle body that i fiddled with but ended up putting back to factory setting as it did not change anything. Haven't looked any deeper yet. I was giving it a few miles to see what happens, but it is no better at 85 miles.

Hopefully this can be sorted out . i ordered mine last night so it's going to be a couple weekes before I can fiddle with mine. what dose it idle at. how dose it react when you going down the road and you give it a bunch of throttle quickly. I wonder if lifan will come out with a tuner for these efi models. or some software for a laptop to tune it or someone figures out how to hack the pcm. because if not we are probably stuck with how it came since there will be no way to adjust anything. I'm suspecting what your experiencing has something to do with the tune. and the idle is probably set in the computer untill someone figures out how to hack it we are probly stuck with what we got. Not saying the tune is deffinuntly the cause. but I would suspect that to be the most likely. as even Japanese an European bikes can have simular issues when new. and it usaly the factory tune. if mine acts the same way its probly the tune. iif not it could be something mechanical

Could it be something as simple as choke? Is there a choke with efi?

dose it have a dialog setting/display in the panel
where you can make adjustments to the injection settings...

most yamaha's do... but there is no mention of it in the manuals
shop mechanics are ment to be the only ones that know about it
and how to access it...

Yamaha.... with the key off.... hold both buttons down while you turn the
key on... keep holding the buttons down till the dialog screen comes up...

try it.... you never know.. there maybe one....

All of the same questions and thoughts I have as well. I don't think it is as simple as turning a limit screw. It reacts fine when cruising and then giving throttle. It reacts not so great from low rpms, like if you let the engine slow you all the way down in say 2nd gear to turn in a cul-d sac it gets overly jerky without ever touching the throttle to start accelerating. Way different than any carbed bike I have ridden.
