Question about Tires and Tubes

I'd like to switch over to new tires, 80% street and 20% dirt. I'm considering the Kenda K761 and the Shinko 705. From what I read here the sizes are:

Rear: 120/80 18
Front: 90/90 21

When I checked out Kenda's website, they say that their K761 as a tubeless tire. And, Shinko says their 705 tire in those sizes are also tubeless.

Can I run tubeless tires on my bike (the enforcer/hawk)? Will my wheels be ok without tubes?

Or, do I need to run tubes? If so, do I need to select other tires? Or, I can run tubes in these tires?

Thanks,

You will have to run a tube. You can use tube in a tubless tire.

If this is for a Hawk, 2.75/3.00X21, or 80/100X21...ARH

I don't know a whole lot about tires but are you sure about the sizes ?
The sizes on my enforcer are 80/ 100 21 (front) and 110/100-18 (back)

Still confused about tire sizes

I thought I had the tires figured out. I was going to go with Shinko 705's in the following sizes:

Front = 90/90 21
Rear = 120/80 18

I was actually going to order them tonight, but decided to check this forum one more time before ordering. I found conflicting info. Some people said they actually bought those exact tires in those exact sizes and successfully installed them on their hawk. Other people, and I think one was the Moderator SpudRider, said that the rear tire size would NOT fit the rear wheel of the hawk; that tire size was made for wider tires. So, now I'm pretty confused.

I'm not sure if the stock tire sizes are the same for the Hawk as they are for the Enforcer, but my current stock tires are:

Front: 80/100 21 (the tire also says STD Rim 1.85)
Rear: 110/100 18 (the tire also says STD Rim 2.50)

Again, I'm looking for a street tire, either 80/20 street/dirt or full street.

Please help with tire suggests (make, model, and size).

Thanks,

Thanks,
I think you will be ok with the front tire you are looking at, but the rear at 120 mm wide is apt to interfere with the drive chain. Those rim sizes were originally for 2.75 X 21 on the front, and 4.00 X 18 rear...ARH

I can't find any street tires in 110/100/18 size. All I see are knobby tires... Which I don't want.

Any suggestions on what will fit the rear?

you won't find street tires with a 100% aspect ratio... "any worth having"
to much tire side wall flex while cornering... "to tall"
Only the dirt tires that have a 100% aspect ratio for
running at low pressures...

Whats wrong with a 80% aspect ratio tire if you are mainly
a black top rider.. seems like the perfect choice to me...

My Hawk has 110/100 on the rear knobby but the tire is 127mm wide at the knobs. It's a wide tire. I can post pictures later if you would like some.
