Almost 90% of the extras are from ebay ! LMAO The bracket i got from Mobstyle choppers . com . They charge 50.00 including shipping and handling. But I after I got it I figured I could have made it. I got a chrome dress up kit from ebay, its plastic chrome, but it works great. The break light and turn signals are LED from ebay. The leds were an easy hook up - ebay too. The side tins i made myself, the paint is safety reflective gray . We are redoing the tins to be longer to cover more of the front area and back.

I rode it all day today, without inspection (dont tell on me ) and found I have to re adjust the chain again.

If you notice we dropped the forks down some in the tree to make it handle better. Looking for a slightly bigger front tire to equal it out. Did you notice all the original tires say "not for highway use"? I hope during inspection they dont notice it !

Did you change your front fender? If so what did you use ?

Thanks for the pics!

She looks good. I like that side cover better than the X.

What kind of ground clearance does it have? Did you have any trouble when riding it around? Curbs, speedbumps, ect?

I hated those "x's" i never even put them on. I have 3"of clearance. Lets just say you feel every bump in the road. Its fun though, I don't think I would ever take it over a major road though. I'm just going to use it as a suped up road legal scooter.[/quote]

Kreem tank sealer. This stops all rust then seals the tank completly. Kinda like making a smaller plastic tank inside of your mettal one.

All Dragon owners to take off the carb "bell" and look for a
big old pile of rust.I have a hunch we should all be getting the
fuel tanks lined

I was dicken around with my carb and took a test ride....my air/fuel
mix screw fell out :( !!Walked 1/2 mile both ways cant fined it.
All moto shops here are closed Mon. So Tue. I hope to get one orderd.
A good sight for some parts is Scooterparts4less.com.Stay away from
the carbon fiber air filter!!! It looks cool and I put it on with some
rubber plumbing fixtures.I had it set soooooo sweet as to get a ram
air afect.Alas it dont have enuf filter serface for 200cc so it bogs down. :(
The larg drive sprockets(20mm x 17mm x 4mm)are just that.
they dont list if its 4mm or 5mm.We need the 5mm.However I think
the 17mm x 14mm x ? will fit the jack shaft.I have some on order
should be here Wed.or so.Our back sprocket is 36t at some point I
will try a 34.But at this time Im trying 17t drive and 17t jack shaft.
I also have a K&N filter comeing will be here on the 7th.
I got a 4in. and is most likely to long for fitting underneath. But
again I plan to set it up for Ram air.

Air filter, chain, and exhaust

I want to keep my air filter....so far so good. But I want to give it the 90 degree turn. Scooterparts4less is out of stock. I noticed yesterday the nut for the chain tightener came off (the one where the two chains meet) I got a bottle of lock tighner so I will be going over all that.
Have you changed your exhaust ? I want to run mine to the side but I dont have a pipe bender.

I think their is one more fella on here.I know there is a guy
that lives close by me.We talked once.I'm sure we will meet up
soon and I tell him about chinariders. It wont be long as people
search for more info on these rides they will end up here.As you
probably know doing a search on parts and stuff yields very little.
so I'm hoping to be ready for all ?.I know Iv spent hours =days
working on my ride, asking ? of people who know motorcycles,e-shopping
ect, ect, ect.I'm doing this to help the poor sucker who gets one of these
and thinks it will last a life time sadly it is a great platform to start
from but soon will need mods, repairs, and some custom work
that can only come from imagination

So, just a couple of questions for you guys...

--Max Speed? Comfortable speed?
--Do they handle worth anything?
--What's the lean angle like, overall?
--Open exhaust or China-mufflator?

Thanks, I'm kind of more curious than anything, although at my height, I would assume they're a no-go...

Max speed 65.3 MPH (flat at 9000 rpm)
You would have to practise. Any chopper takes practise.
With stock tires not bad you can get around corners.
But with the tires I got ,you can get a mean lean.
Straight pipes baby nice and loud!!!
I'm 6 ft. it gets a little uncomfortable after 20 mi.(butt wise)
It don't look to small on me
I got it out of necessity. I have an 06 Honda civic Si and it takes
supper unleaded.Gas was 4.79 a gal. and to fill up was about 58.00
a week.I don't want another car payment(5000.00+for a motorcycle)
And I don't want a "scooter" under powered and kinda sissy looking.
this was different and able to customize. And the chicks dig it!!
Now its 5.00 a week back and forth to work.I don't drive on the
freeway but it is a goal (gun range is 28 mi.away)Then I would save
a lot on gas.Sad thing is super gas is down to 3.60 a gal.

Ok,
I got the K&N filter to day (PT# R-0011) it is 4 in.long and has a 40 deg.
bend .It fits!!!! A little tight. When sitting on bike you will want it to
face down and a little to the left .That Kreem tank stuff came today.
I got the 3 part prosess.(clean/rust remove,water remove,liner) I will
get back to you all on that(saving it for a rainy day)
One more thing about the filter, you will need the spray oil before install.
I hope to day that my carb and sprockets come in.I got the
20mm x 17mm x 4mm.Im going to hogg it out a little so it will fit.
I also got 2ea. 17mm x 14mm x ? for the jackshaft.Soooooo we will see.
That is all
