Also the later genuine Honda bikes had a estart and you prob could sort the older from chinese parts

I forgot the exact model name, but I recall the 400cc Shineray dual-sport being discussed on Mychinamoto.com from members who lived in China, and there was apparently some kind of fatal flaw. Then again, this was several years ago. Not sure how long you have lived in China, but it was from when the dual-sport first came out.
