Solid rims on a hawk, is it possible?

Is it possible to switch to a solid style rim for the hawk? I've tried searching through previous forum posts but can't find anything to match what I'm looking for. Might have been poor word choice on my search.

Yes. Some have swapped the stock ones out for Aluminum after bending the stock wheels up.

If the rims are made... which I have seen them... and are made in the size you are needing... I really don't see any problems... maybe need to change the speedometer counter.. and cable.. maybe the disc.. but basically it should be a good fit... I have seen some HD's with them... with matching custom paint jobs on them... let us know if you find them... maybe I'll do some searches on custom motorcycle rims/wheels for dirt bikes.. sport bikes and etc...

Sorry I used the wrong term, I meant a cast wheel or spokeless. Like you would see on cruisers or most street bikes. I just did a little reading and I may go back on the thought of switching to cast rims. The spoked rim absorbs impacts better and allows for deformation while a cast is more prone to cracking. From what I gathered a cast rim is better for on street performance with less maintenance and generally easy to keep true only due to fragility to localized impact say from a large rock. And a spoked rim is perfect for either just requires more maintenance with keeping true and spoke tension. No being lazy without extra cost here

You can make spoke wheels tubeless by sealing them or buying an expensive system like Tubliss. Just know that once these options are done, tire repairs can be tricky if the tire is on the wheel. It's easier to replace/repair a tube than try a roadside plug on a tubeless conversion. Any little poke too deep with a plug kit, you can lose the seal, and create a big air leak.
