Shorter Foot Shift Lever for RX3

Howdy,
I'm looking to purchase a shorter foot shift lever for an CSC RX3. I find the stock lever a little too long and have to slide my foot forward to get a good contact with the shift lever.
Can any of you folks suggest or recommend an after market shorter shift lever that will fit the serrated transmission mounting point? A recommended source and/or a recommended brand would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. A shift lever that is 1/2 inch shorter would probably work fine.
But when I clicked on the Amazon site and read the specs of the foot shift lever, they seemed weird. It stated the foot shift lever was 11.9" X 5.1" X 1.3"?????
I can't figure out where they were measuring on the part.
So, I measured from the front of the left rider's foot peg to the back of the rubber contact tip of the lever and the distance between measured 5 & 7/8".
So you said that the new lever is 1/2" shorter than the stock foot shift lever. So does your new replacement lever measure about 5 & 3/8" when measured the same way as I measured my lever?
And the shift lever part is listed as for a '93-'03 Honda XR650L bike.

I have the EMGO also. I noticed when I put it on it was closer to the engine and made it harder for me to hit for upshifting so I bent it out a bit. Easy to do and it's held up well.

Did you notice any clearance problems between the engine and EMGO gear shift lever when you installed it on your bike?
