Hydraulic Clutch?

It doesn't cost that much, maybe 40 or 50$ total to order all the parts... and the cost is worth it for every motorcycle (IMO)

$20 for the Hydraulic Clutch Lever/Master Cylinder... $10 or so for the Hydraulic Clutch Slave Cylinder... and another 8 - $10 for the Stainless Steel Line

I don't know if it's a specific RX3 clutch, or one of the universal types sold everywhere.

It doesn't look to be a 'bike specific upgrade' from the pic, it looks like they used the stock mounting bracket and everything for the 'Hydraulic Clutch' on that RX3

Do you still get the same clutch hand feel like if you need to feather the clutch or whatever its called?

I prefer hydraulic clutches every time nowadays.

I have had bad luck with those clutch systems ,the slave cylinder is a pile of crap that at best seems to last a month or two ,and if you break the lever ,they are hard to find .I wouldn't give you a red cent for one .I have dealt with 6 of them ,and every single one was removed within a month or two and tossed in the circuler file .
Your mileage may vary .

Thanks for the heads-up!....and lets not forget that the clutch pull on these is very light, not like my old Ironhead that almost took two hands.

The guy we bought our RX3's from also included a new, extra clutch cable. Hopefully it's a scarecrow.

Anyone else notice the upside down OCS?

I should of mentioned the ones I have used were cheap chineese pitbike units ,if you guys are looking at something from a real company you might be alright .

If you're good with dropping 250 or so maturation makes a mighty fine hydro clutch

Magura makes some great Hydraulic Clutch systems too, can find them for $220 or so depending on the bike

I put a Magura kit on my '99 KLR 650

one of the better mods I have done for the hefty KLR was get a Hydraulic Clutch put on it

Seems a unneeded complication on such small and easy to use cable clutch on these 250's. i don't know just my thought?

Might be a good mod for the old Montesa Cota 348...
they must have the heavyest clutch pull in the histroy
of motorcycling..
no fiber plates all steel with clutch springs stronger than a
chinese bikes rear shock...

my roketa is on its 3rd cable in just under a year and a half... thankfully rhey jave all broken on pre ride checkovers and not along my 30 mi commute.... that's where my interest is for a hydro clutch....
