"Renthal" Fat Bars and "Pro Taper" Riser adapters.

Let me be straight forward with this. These are knock off parts, or at least unlicensed parts sold through the same manufacturer in China.

Both Items were purchased through Aliexpress for a whopping total of a hair under $42.

Bars: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Blac...311.0.0.8kTPGL

Riser Adapters: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Pro-...311.0.0.8kTPGL

The bars are made from Alloy just like actal Renthals sold for $70+, and very heavy duty in terms of thickness, while being fairly light weight. The surface finish is actually very nice and durable. While putting on the controls I had a few moments that generally would have taken the finish off of a cheaper bar. These didn't even scuff. They have a bit less rise than the stock bars, and even with the adapters raising them up about half an inch, they still sit a little lower than the stock bars. They do, however, transmit vibration a lot more, so bar end weights or some other solution would be advised, though not necessary.

The riser adapters are also an alloy construction and also have a very durable finish to them. They fit my Hawk and the new bars perfectly.

These parts far exceeded my expectations in quality, and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to do a similar upgrade, but don't want to spend 3 times the price.

Just as a side note, if you do go this route, the riser adapters will make it very difficult to open the key hole cover, as they take up just enough room where the key needs to sit in order to turn the little mechanism. It is still possible, but very fiddly. This doesn't really bother me as I rarely use the thing, but it is something to consider.

I am looking to swap out to a wider more endure type bar to the Venom Vader. Will it be necessary and I am assuming it is to swap out to longer length cables. Have any recommendations?
