Thanks,

My Chinese is so bad I'm having trouble with the site. Do you know the characters for the pushrod 270 upgrade kit for a zongshen 250? I'm going to get the watercooled and figure something out.

I have my old bike downstairs - F 650gs Dakar - Maybe I can use the radiator from that. The lid is leaky though.... It used to leak regularly.

I have a couple of links:

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=26436512698

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=17671533530

I don't use characters. I search in English, and I use terms like CG270 or CG300.

That's amazing! I've totally grenaded motocross bikes, a couple Harley's and my old drag bike and I've NEVER had a piston vanish before! Obviously, Elvis is holding it hostage in Jim Morrison's closet!

Of course, The King is alive. I just didn't know he collected damaged pistons.

I think the metal was really crap.... Honestly, I thought I lost it or something. I actually started to think someone had nicked it, but that couldn't have happened with all the seals so tight.

The bad news is, I have to wait at least a month to order a new engine.....

I'll have to make do with the bike again and leave it in a shed for a while.

My old Suzuki TS250 grenaded a piston, but most of it was still on top of the crank. Many tiny bits of schrapnel were under the crank.

The difference here is that your four stroke motor has a lot more room for piston fragments throughout the transmission. There wasn't much area for bits to hide in my two stroke.
