Haven't tried one of those, looks complicated compared to the VistaCruise and a lot more expensive.

Part of that thread drift.

From Megadan......I have tried all of the varieties of throttle lock-style "Cruise controls" and none of them ever leave you happy with them. The one I liked the most was a recent one I tried on my Goldwing, which is a lever stop style unit called the Omni-Cruise.

Got a chance to take it out for extended 228 mile blast yesterday and got the feel for the throttle lock. May need some more twerking on the clamp but it is a pretty good thing. I agree with ya MEGA, they work enough just to relax the right arm just enough for some relief on long rides, otherwise a lot of compensation for inclines and declines.

Liked the on/off aspect of the atlas...just too expensive but happy enough.
