Brake parts.

Has anyone been able to locate brake pads for these babies? My TSM uses the same ones.

I thought someone mentioned they where going to try and cross reference the round disk type front brake pads, but maybe that got put on the back burner. It sure would be nice to know that we could go to our normal parts supply place and pick up pads for ?????? motorcycle.

Has anyone looked at www.jetmotousa.com/parts.php
They have a lot of parts listed, but not sure if they sell to the public.
I'm gonna call today about that front wheel I need.

No brake pads listed. Just like everyone else. Every part except the pads. Going to suck when the first sets wear out.

Has anyone asked Bruce at EJ? It looks like the Lifan has the same setup in the front from the pictures I've seen.

That's not a bad deal. Do you have the part number on that? I've poked around and their parts listing is a bit lacking in description.

should be the same pads as rocketa... they are pretty much the same bike mechanically with different body parts.. aka dodge caliber/jeep compass, eagle talon/plymouth laser/ mitsubishi eclipse....

know what i mean?

if you can find out part #'s and how much they run, that would be fantastic info for the site's parts listing thread...

i'll never find out the part numbers. Goldenvale is so fucked up when it comes to parts. i ordered the rear brake assembly probly 3 months ago and still don't have it.

you can try giving them a call though. but honestly i'd just order from Bruce at EJ cycles. he has been great so far. even though i own a Roketa i've been ordering Lifan parts as he can get them fast to me and they're always right.

Went and checked out Mister Moped in Sarasota yesterday, supposed Lifan dealer... Well they did have a few American Lifan and UM 4-wheelers and scooters and walls lined with posters of several models including the GY-5 but nothing to jump up and down about... So I headed back to the parts dept. and they didn't have any parts on hand but they could get anything I needed for a GY-5 in 2 or 3 days out of Texas, good to know... Was looking for a bike for the little woman, that didn't pan out but at least it wasn't a total waste of time...Just thought I'd let ya'll know...
