does this negine have a balancer shaft in it?

I grenaded the motor on my Panterra café and am looking to replace it with this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/180793208940...S:1123&vxp=mtr
The old 125 didn't have a balancer in it and it vibrated really badly, so I'm trying to avoid that in the future. What should I look for to tell?

thanks, Alex

That engine does not have a counter-balancer. If it did, the front of the engine (below the cylinder) would protrude, and that's where a small version of a crankshaft would be.

For some reason the balance shaft engines are hard to come by but there is a huge difference in vibration level. I have noticed that the 167FML (Honda CG clone without the balance shaft) in my Zongshen Roketa is much smoother than the non balance shaft version of the 163FML. This may have to do with the bigger bore/shorter stroke design.
