Looking for a CT70 knock off...

Duh! How could I forget saferwholesale (the place Barnone got his sidehack z50 clone). They seem to have both the Skyteam (way too high priced) CT70 replica and the Ice Bear (just about the same as motobuys)

Skyteam USA (NOT the official Skyteam importer) had dropped the CT70 clones (which falsely worried people because they thought CT70's were no longer imported) to concentrate on these a couple years ago. They were advertising them on the L.A. Craigslist for $999, and they were even CARB legal for California! If you bought it locally, you paid sales tax. If you mail-ordered one, I think it was $200 for shipping. Several people here felt they were shady (from when they called to inquire about the bikes), but I just think it was simply inexperience. I bet you could contact Skyteam USA and get a better price than Saferwholesale (they used to advertise lower prices).

I like this video of a 140cc conversion, but I believe the guy used an actual, rare Honda ZB50...
